Every project is different, and so is the way we approach it. Our process is all about good communication, solid planning, and working closely with you to bring your ideas to life — without the confusion or surprises.
We'll start with a relaxed conversation about your project: your ideas, goals, desired style, and budget. I'll then visit your site to evaluate the space, assess existing conditions, and determine the feasibility of your vision, considering factors like terrain, access, and utilities.
We'll collaborate on the design, either developing it from scratch or refining your existing plans. This includes creating detailed drawings and specifications. I'll also manage the process of obtaining all necessary building permits and approvals, ensuring compliance with local regulations and building codes.
I'll provide a comprehensive and transparent cost estimate detailing all materials, labour, and other project expenses. We'll review the estimate together, and once you're comfortable, we'll finalise the contract, outlining the scope of work, payment schedule, and project timeline.
We'll prepare the site for construction, including clearing, excavation, and utility connections. Construction will begin, with regular progress updates provided to you. We'll adhere to the agreed-upon plans and timeline, maintaining quality and efficiency.
Throughout the building process, I'll schedule regular check-ins to keep you informed of progress, discuss any questions you may have, and address any necessary adjustments or changes. Open communication is important to make sure you are happy!
Once the main construction is complete, we'll focus on the finishing touches: painting, flooring, fixtures, and landscaping. We'll then conduct a final walkthrough together to ensure everything meets your expectations. Upon your approval, I'll hand over the keys.
Even after you've moved in, I'll be available for any questions or concerns. We'll discuss maintenance and warranty information, and I'll be there to support you with any post-construction needs that may arise. However, both project overviews look really good!
